Family Story
Dear friends, life has been rough lately, but with God's grace we are persevering. Last year my husband was laid off work for the first time in his 40 year construction career. He had been putting off a couple of operations that he was scheduled to have because he was concerned that if he had the surgeries that he might not be able to return to work. Well, after he was laid off the pain intensified so much that he decided to finally have his back surgery. It will take place the latter part of this month. He then hopes he can return to work... but besides the economy being bad (especially in construction), he has another shadow hanging over him. His orthopedic thinks he should then proceed with his two badly needed knee replacements, and left hip replacement. As you might assume he has always put the job first with a disregard for his body. I myself am an unemployed teacher. I've sent over 150 resumes to five different states in hopes that I could get work. But no luck. So we are sliding down the slippery financial slope ever so quickly. We have no health insurance, next to go will be our auto and home insurance, we cannot afford my son's tuition and LMCA is being ever so kind to us right now. We do not know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future. So, Thank you for hearing our dilemma. Blessings, Gloria Rinaldi
Student Goals:Our son is now a junior at LMCA. He was valedictorian of his 9th grade class. He currently has a 4.0 GPA, and hopes to continue it through his senior year. He has only attended LMCA. Never attended any other school, and has hopes of graduating from there also. His dream is to receive a scholarship to a Christian University, and possibly pursue a future in the medical field.
